Viewing Feeds

Feeds let you view commonly used streams from a production.

  • Log in to the Cloud Flex application.
  • Navigate to the Feed Manager section.

2. Creating a New Feed 0:13

  • Click on the ‘Feeds’ option.
  • Fill in the following fields:
    • Description: Provide a human-readable description of the feed.
    • Origin: Specify where the feed is coming from.
    • Feed Type: Choose from the following options:
      • HLS feed (M3U8 extension) - 3 seconds or more delay
      • SLDP (low latency feed) - 1-2 seconds delay
      • WHEP (WebRTC egress) (near real-time) - requires WHEP server and SSL
  • Paste the URL for the feed in the designated field.
  • Click ‘Create’ to save the feed.

3. Viewing and Managing Feeds 1:19

  • After creating, all feeds will be displayed with their type, status (online/offline), and associated studio.
  • Click ‘Open Feed’ to view a specific multi-viewer feed.
  • Options available:
    • Make it full-screen.
    • Open in a new tab.

 4. Editing Existing Feeds 1:51

  • To edit a feed, click the ‘Edit’ button next to the desired feed.
  • Make necessary changes and save.
