# Feed Manager settings

Enable Feed Manager under **Applications** before users can create and view feeds. Then grant Feed Manager access by studio under **Environment Settings**.

Feed records can use HLS, SLDP, or WHEP URLs. Confirm that browser clients can reach the source from the networks used by the production. For WHEP, use a compatible secure endpoint and test playback before distributing a view-only link.

Sharing produces a view-only URL outside the normal Studio navigation. Treat the URL as access to the production feed. Remove the feed or change the source when the shared link must no longer expose the content.
